Cheryl Harrison is our church-sponsored missionary in Latvia, and has been involved with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) since 1983. She helped to pioneer the YWAM Latvia work in 1993. There are now close to 50 full time staff workers in Latvia, as well as many short term volunteers, teams and students.
Cheryl is the National Team Leader of YWAM Latvia www.ywamlatvia.com. She works with various operating locations in Latvia coordinating people and projects, and serving ministry leaders. She also serves on the Northern European Leadership Team (NELT) for YWAM in the region.
Cheryl is part of a pioneering YWAM team in Riga, www.ywamriga.org, whose purpose is to impact all spheres of society. Presently ministries are functioning in the areas of music, media, arts, people with disabilities, human traffiking, discipleship, education and government.
