   Help for Haiti

If you are considering making a contribution for Haiti relief, please consider giving to UMCOR, the United Methodist Committee on Relief. 100% of your donation goes to Haiti relief- there are no administration expenses taken out of your contribution since all costs are already paid through the Church. If you want to make a contribution, you can give a check at Windover Hills or through the UMCOR website. UMCOR Director Rev. Sam Dixon and Rev. Clinton Rabb, head of the office of Mission Volunteers of the General Board of Global Ministries, were killed in the earthquake.
Our conference sent thousands of health and school kits to Haiti last week. If you're interested in making up kits for the Haitian survivors, please click here for additional information.

New youth program kicks off 2/21

Windover Hills UMC will kick off its new youth program, Crosswalk, on February 21 at 6:30 pm. Part concert, featuring local Christian rock band "Overture Divine", and part open mike night, the event will be held in the new "One Way Café," in the church's Fellowship Hall. Food and drinks can be purchased, with proceeds going to UMCOR. Crosswalk will continue every Sunday evening from 6:30-8:30 pm, with an open mike format on the first and third weeks of each month. The second Sunday will feature a fun activity youth night, and the fourth Sunday will be a community outreach event. All 5th through 12th grade youths are encouraged to bring their friends, stop by and check it out. Call Jack Robertshaw at 412-979-9122 for more information.
